Welcome to National Theatre of Scotland

Vicky Featherstone - Chief Executive and Artistic Director

Introduction from Vicky Featherstone,
Artistic Director and Chief Executive

Since our launch in February 2006, over 230,000 people have sat in theatres, stood in woods or on ferries to see our work.

We think long into the night as to what might thrill, entertain, move and excite our audiences. What can we do that will coax you from your homes and encourage you to tell your friends and family to come with you?

This philosophy is made possible by our innovative building-free model, which means we can put on a great variety of work all over Scotland which we hope appeals to the hugely diverse individuals who make up our audience.
